Go and Tell Ministries
The seminary is small in size but with a great desire to grow and continue advancing. We are currently working with the seminary to secure the resources necessary to put fans in all of the classrooms, as well as, doors and updated electrical apparatuses. We are very blessed to have a staff of local pastors who dedicate their time (and in many cases donate their time) to preparing and then delivering in-depth discussions and investigations designed to prepare the future pastors and missionaries of this area. As a ministry we are very thankful for all of the seminaries located throughout Mexico. We have had the opportunity to visit and work with the Baptist seminaries in Oaxaca and Mexico City and look forward to opportunities in the future to continue supporting their ministries. Our greatest commitment though is to the local seminary – a school with 40 years of history and experience – a school that is redesigning and restructuring every element of programming with the goal of providing the very best of training for our current and future pastors.
Fall 2012 marked a new phase of ministry for Go and Tell Ministries, as our Director of Missions, Mary Yarbrough, was invited to begin teaching classes at the local Baptist seminary in Matamoros. The invitation was extended to focus on the areas of Christian Education and Missions. We are just beginning our third year of partnership with the Dr. Cosme G. Montemayor Baptist Theological Seminary, but even in this short amount of time we have seen the Lord accomplish some incredible things. We have recently finished assisting the seminary in structuring a three year program focused on Christian Education and just this fall we were asked to open a new extension of the seminary offering a one year Christian Education program.
