On the Field Support

Each year we have the great blessing of hosting short term mission teams from various churches from the United States. In partnership with our home church here in Matamoros, Iglesia Bautista El Divino Salvador, we work with short term teams ranging in size from 8 to 100 people per team. These teams come to join us for a week at a time and minister to the people of this area through Vacation Bible Schools, medical teams, construction teams, evangelistic events, food and clothing distribution, and much more.

We have provided some additional information for those of you interested in coming to work here to help familiarize you and your team members with the area – it’s sort of a Survival Kit for our short term missionaries who partner with us each year. Financial Support

Go and Tell is able to fund all elements of the ministry from the generous donations of supporters from around the United States. Our daily operating expenses including all of the ongoing ministries you have read about, as well as, the salary and expenses for our missionary, Mary Yarbrough, are provided for each month as the Lord leads people to sacrificially donate to the work here in Mexico.


When this ministry began we had the support of a very small but faithful group of brothers and sisters. Over the years we have seen the Lord grow this group and through them provide in the most miraculous of ways. Whether the need has been something as small as a pair of shoes or as large as constructing a new church, the Lord has consistently provided exactly what was needed at the exact moment in time it was needed.  

Go and Tell is a non-profit corporation 501c(3) recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. We operate under the oversight of a Board of Directors that which evaluates and reviews all aspects of the ministry including its financial health and operations.  In addition, monthly and quarterly financial reports are provided for the review of each board member in order to maintain the highest level of financial accountability.

As we are looking to the future and the goals the Lord has set before us we know that our financial needs will continue to grow as the ministry expands even further. Each day we find ourselves faced with opportunities (and challenges) that are beyond our human abilities to address. The decisions we have to make and the dire needs of those around us require a daily infusion of God’s power and strength.


There have been more times than could be recounted where an email has been sent, a letter delivered, or a phone call received with this most simple message – ‘we are praying for you’. The strength that we draw from those encouraging words is like receiving an injection of Vitamin C into our spiritual beings.
